    Liberty Swing - Deniliquin

" A need in the community was identified" The combined efforts of Lions, Rotary, Soroptimists Clubs along with the Deniliquin RSL, Edward River Council and many members of the Community set to work to resolve this need.

The culmination of this effort was the dedication on 17th December 2017 of the "Liberty Swing" in RSL Park. This swing will give members of the community, previous unable to use regular swings, the freedom to enjoy a swing just like anyone else.

    Service of Remembrance

On Sunday 29th October, Lions from across District V6 came together on the Boardwalk in Barham to recognise the members of the Lions Family who had passed away since last Convention. A very moving service was conducted by Lion Rob and Sue Daws.
Thank you to Lion John Boyd for the donation of Orchids for the service, this made it very special.
